Daily Analysis

🟢 P&L: +$274.67 | Grade: B | February 20, 2026

Today was Trader Rehab – Day 1.
This wasn’t about maximizing. It was about stabilizing.

Small Caps (Pre-Market)

Small caps were extremely thin today.

Momentum was not broad.
Very few A+ setups. Maybe two C+ quality opportunities — and that’s being generous.

The difference today?

I took what was available.

No forcing breakouts that weren’t there.
No convincing myself something was “about to go.”
No size expansion trying to create opportunity.

The setups that did appear worked — not explosive, not home runs — but tradable.

In this type of tape, survival and selectivity matter more than aggression.

That was the goal.

Large Caps (Open)

Large caps were traded with structure in mind.

Session-based.
Defined entries.
Defined exits.

This was not a “press the gas” environment.

It was a:

  • Take base hits.

  • Respect VWAP.

  • Respect trend.

  • Avoid early chop.

The focus was controlled participation, not making back yesterday.

No oversized adds.
No emotional scaling.
No “protect the month” mindset.

Just execution.

Trade Breakdown

PLTR - Short

Market Context

Small caps:
Very low momentum.
Not broad strength.
Thin follow-through.
Only isolated tradable pockets.

Large caps:
More stable.
Cleaner liquidity.
More structured volatility.

This was not a day to be aggressive.

It was a day to be professional.

Right now, adaptability > bias.

Execution Notes

Biggest difference from yesterday:

I accepted that a small red day is allowed.

That shift changes everything.

Yesterday’s loss escalated because I refused to accept being down.

Today, I traded like someone who understands:

Red days are part of the model.
Spiral days are rare.
Control is non-negotiable.

No revenge trading.
No emotional size changes.
No streak protection mindset.

Just session-based structure.

Self-Regulation Review

Stayed calm.
Stayed measured.
Stayed aware.

The urge to “make it back” was noticeably quieter.

That’s growth.

The biggest win today wasn’t P&L.

It was not trying to erase yesterday.

Scorecard

Process: A-
Execution: B+
Risk Management: A
Self-Regulation: A-
Patience: B+
Market Read: B+

Rehab Day 1 complete.

Not flashy.
Not explosive.
Not emotional.

Stable.

Now we stack boring days.

That’s the rebuild.
