Trade Breakdown

RADX โ€” Primary Ticker

Trade 1 | 07:03 | +$0.38
Starter position to feel out liquidity and responsiveness. Very small size, informational trade.

Trade 2 | 07:07 | +$1.30
Momentum continuation. Was on a p/b and was setting up for a massive bull flag, I averaged down at the bottom, and as soon as it spiked up after it bottomed, I took the profit. Made a massive move after it, and this was my mistake... but i saw how strong the stock was so on trade 4 , I pressed it full size, I felt it out again on Trade 3 though first w/ smaller size once more.

Trade 3 | 07:12 | +$5.60
First trade with real structure. Allowed the move to develop instead of rushing the exit.

Trade 4 | 07:13 | +$27.20
Best trade of the day. Momentum, volume, and structure aligned. Scaled size appropriately and stayed patient. This trade did the majority of the dayโ€™s work. I saw how strong it was after trade 2 and 3, and I knew those shorts were getting squeezed out, it was going parabolic , this was the entry where i just pressed the gas for my share size/risk right now.

Trade 5 | 07:17 | -$16.30
Re-entry after the main move. Edge was diminished. Cut the trade without hesitation. This was the signal that RADX was transitioning out of clean momentum. I saw it before, but I thought we would get a squeeze at 22 again, we did for .50 cents, and then it knifed down hard, and the writing was on the wall. Took it only with 5 shares , but it still lost so much per share that it put a dent in my day. This was a big red flag for me that my day was getting a little less controlled at this point.

Trade 6 | 07:48 | +$1.45
Small scalp on a minor pop. Execution was fine, but edge was limited due to backside action. Revenge trade a bit, wasn't necessary to take the risk on this one, backside shouldn't be traded at this level of my experience.

Trade 7 | 08:18 | +$1.15
Late re-entry. More engagement than necessary.ย  Again, edge was limited due to backside action. Not needed to take risk on this one , more revenge

Trade 8 | 08:19 | -$0.55
Low-quality trade. No strong reason beyond price movement. Cut quickly. Not needed to take risk on this one either, more overtrading.

Trade 9 | 08:30 | +$0.50
Final RADX trade. Very small scalp. In hindsight, this should have been a no-trade as well...... see all other comments above .... something inside me kept haunting me to go back for more, like "this is going to be the one squeeze"

RADX Summary:
One high-quality A trade, a few acceptable B trades, and several C trades that came from staying engaged too long, and overtrading it.

KYTX โ€” Higher Float Name

Trade 10 | 08:34 | -$1.65
I took one stab here, but the float was a bit too high. The move lacked urgency and volatility, so I exited quickly and didnโ€™t re-enter. Classic top tick FOMO driven.

IMG โ€” Secondary Name

Trade 11 | 08:36 | +$0.50
Clean setup, quick execution, no forcing. Noticed a lot of sellers on this one though, was not really a stock I needed to try for either, just goes toward the overtrading today. Noticed a pegged sell order

Trade 12 | 08:38 | +$0.25
Second small scalp. Stayed disciplined and didnโ€™t overtrade it. Noticed a lot of sellers on this one though, was not really a stock I needed to try for either, just goes toward the overtrading today. Noticed a pegged sell order

Market Context

Premarket was active, but not broad-based. The opportunity was concentrated in one primary momentum name, with a couple of secondary movers showing lighter volume.

RADX stood out early due to strong premarket momentum and volatility, making it the clear focus for the session. After the initial push, the market shifted into more choppy, rotational behavior, where clean continuation setups became harder to find. This move on RADX was a great short squeeze with great structure on the front side of the move.

This was a market that rewarded early participation and selectivity, and punished over-engagement once the main move had already played out.

Execution Notes

  • Size remained controlled throughout the session

  • Losses were cut without emotional escalation

  • Best execution occurred early when momentum and structure aligned

  • Later trades lacked a clear edge and were driven more by engagement than opportunity

The main execution issue today was over-participation, not poor decision-making. Controlled size saved me for experiments that I rationalize with.

Scorecard

Discipline: 7.5 / 10
Patience: 6.5 / 10
Selectivity: 6 / 10
Risk Management: 8.5 / 10
Emotional Control: 8 / 10
